This is a short promotional video that I made for a tourism company called Chigwell Tours. I filmed and edited everything in the video, using old and new video clips that I had filmed for the company for previous tour videos over a few years. This video showcases all of their current tours with interviews of the managing director and the lead tour guide, everything was done to a client brief and underwent many revisions until the client was satisfied. The video was filmed with a variety of equipment but was mostly filmed with a Panasonic GH5S.
This was a mockumentary short film where my role was director of photography, I designed the whole look of the film and shot most of it along a second camera person. I worked with a whole camera team and small lighting team. Most of the film was shot from a shoulder mount, but also had conventional controlled interview situations with lighting. I worked with the director to colour grade the film and gave important feedback when needed, The camera used was a Sony FS7 with a simple Sony 24-105 f4 zoom lens.
This is a promotional video that was made for the client: Chigwell tours-- a tourism company. This is a video showcasing Bletchley park as part of the clients STEM education tours programme. I was editor and DOP for this video. I edited and filmed it in directly to what the client asked for. There was a lot of time pressure when filming, but I managed to capture everything needed. The video was filmed with a Panasonic GH5S.
In this short film I was Director of photography and also helped to produce it. The tone is very dismal, as the film is about trying to get over the death of someone. In the film we faced many different challenges: we had to overcome time constraints, and had to make natural light look good whilst fitting in with the themes. The camera used was a Canon C300 and it was shot mostly with a 35mm prime lens.
This was a promotional video made for the client: Roding Valley High School as part of a university project. I was director of photography and helped to influence editing decisions. All the footage seen was captured over a whole school day. Even though a school day may seem quite long there was a large amount of time pressure on the crew, thankfully due to careful and precise planning we managed to capture everything needed. . There was a lot of pressure on my group but in the end the end result was successful. The camera used was a Canon C500 with a kit 6 prime lenses.
I was tasked with making a dream sequence, it had to be surreal, unique and be like a dream. I was the cinematographer in the sequence, I shot everything in the video. The camera used was a Canon C100. I did not edit anything seen in the video, but helped to influence editing and colour grading decisions.
The task for this film was to make a short film completely in one take. The film was filmed handheld. My role was cinematographer, I designed and planned the shots and filmed everything using a Cannon XC10. I did not edit this and was not responsible for any sound.
The brief for this film was to create a LANDSCAPE film with music in the background. There had to be no actors and the story line could be VERY loose, the film was meant for the client Landscape HD. I was editor in this film and was responsible for editing all the footage to the beat of the with music.
In this film we were challenged to make a short film in the vertical orientation, In this film my role was SOUND, even though there was no dialogue I was responsible for picking up Foley.
This was the first of four short films. The brief was to make a film with a twist at the end. I was director/ producer in the film and helped to design and organise it
